December 13th-17th

Language Arts: This weeks theme is all about being creative!

Spelling: Words with -ope, -ose, -ote, -ute, -ube, and sight words. (hope, nose, note, rope, cute, cube, chop, whale, old, new)

Math: This week in math we are wrapping up learning about place value and numbers to 100. A practice test will come home Wednesday and we will have a math test on Thursday!

* We will be having a Christmas Party on Thursday the 16th from 11:00-12:00.
* Friday the 17th is an early out day at 1:15 and school does not resume until January, 4th!

Spelling: Words with ch, tch, wh, ph, and sight words. (whip, whale, catch, match, chin, chop, like, ride, your, from)

Math: We have begun a new unit in math which focuses on place value and numbers to 100. This week we are learning about multiples of ten, and reading and writing numerals.
